A party gets underway in Rojales, in the south of Alicante province, at 11am on Friday where one thousand seats have been set out for local British residents to get together to watch the British royal wedding broadcast live on TV on a gigantic screen.

EFE reports that more than 9,000 of the local 20,500 population is British and the party will include stalls with wine tasting, typical dishes from the UK, India, Spain and France and, of course, tea and cakes.
