Motorola has launched its Xoom Wi-Fi tablet in Spain. Motorola Xoom is the first device to run on the Android 3.0 Honeycomb platform.
Xoom comes packed with a HD display to support HD video and with HDMI out, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera for HD video capture and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats and a built-in gyroscope, barometer, e-compass, accelerometer and adaptive lighting.
Motorola Xoom also supports a Beta of Adobe Flash Player 10.2, downloadable from Android Market, enabling the delivery of Flash based web content including videos, casual games and internet applications.
As per reports, the Motorola Xoom will be available at The Phone House stores for US$579 without contract. Orange will offer the device for US$423.56for customers who subscribe to a monthly data package.
