Chris was rescued but Mr Foster and Mr Hull are missing and presumed dead by the Portuguese Coastguard.
Just hours after Saturday's tragedy, Chris wrote on Facebook: 'Two of the greatest, kindest people - so sorry I was the lucky one. RIP, my friends.'
The younger men, from Southend, Essex, had made the same journey from Southampton last year. Mr Hull was also said to be 'experienced'."
