'It happened when he was away in Egypt last month,' says a pal of the former jailbird, who is said to have once controlled 10 per cent of the world's hashish trade.
The burglars are understood to have used a van to take away a huge haul of his most treasured possessions, including a Wurlitzer jukebox, three televisions, two computers, two ornamental busts, a valuable coin collection, Lladró porcelain, jewellery, a DVD player with 200 films. They even took his lawn mower."
