Spain prosecutors to seek stiff sentences forair controllers - Fox News Latino: "Spanish prosecutors will seek eight-year prison sentences for air traffic controllers charged with sedition in connection with a massively disruptive sickout last week, Attorney General Candido Conde-Pumpido said here Thursday.
The wildcat work stoppage, which caused the closure of Spanish airspace and led the government to declare a state of alarm, is a 'very serious' crime, he said before presiding at a meeting of the prosecutors council in Zaragoza.
